Well, my parents' are now here :) I got to spend all day with them, doing what we do best as a family. Going to a tour (Busch Factory in St. Louis), drink, then drive through a REALLY REALLY bad part of town (Like.. windows were shot out on 1/2 the houses/buildings)
Of course, it was to find some random train toy store my dad found in the yellow pages (Ripped out the page too from the hotel's book >_> )... it was closed by the time we got there. We ALWAYS have to go to out of the way places to find him trains. I remember back when I was a kid, waiting for hours for some train to go around the Horseshoe Curve. oi.
I thought I recognized a street we passed, so I grabbed the map, dug around, and ended up having dinner at the Blueberry Hill :D (U-city loop). I knew my parents would dig the place.
Ended up not getting back home til almost 9:30 (had to go to the gas station, let my dad figure out if he wanted more beer -- this is after 3 glasses at the factory, then a FULL pitcher at dinner).
Went and got makeup, my hair is up in curlers and my mom and sister went back to the hotel at 11.
Matt's out with friends of his, looking at boobs. I hope everything's okay, because their designated drivers are in my living room playing Guitar Hero, since the place that they were meeting friends up at was 21 and older only.
13 hours from now I'll be in my green dress, signing my marriage papers :)
We'll have photos after monday or tuesday, once we get everyone back to their states (and countries)
So far so good... I miss my parents terribly. Thankfully, they'll be moving to North Carolina, so I can visit them more! (8 hour drive verse 22hour drive)
