So much of this looks to me like a freezeframe from a CGI sequence of a tree morphing into a human or a group of them: where limbs will grow, you now see sockets in the bones and cradles...

So much twisting and LIFE jumps from the whole vista: it's far from the ravens only, that are moving :)
