    I so don't feel like going to work today *Laughs* But it's 40 bucks... ah well. Only 5 hours, right?

    But, reason I don't want to is just... everything came flooding out of me yesterday. Last night I thought up another one of those "path" creatures (this one: http://fallenlights.net/portfolio/files/traditional/000471.html ) and it just... seriously morphed within the last 10 minutes to something super.     Maybe it's the third, who knows?

    yesterday -
    I also spit up a 'final' drawing for a luck, chinese new year,new york city macy's thanksgivingday parade inspired dragon ;) Too big to scan, so you won't see it til I'm done.

    AND started painting a woman on a land of masks.

    AND had an idea based on an old dream I had a few years ago... about the world becoming nothing more then flying rocks (like the ending of NeverEnding Story)



    ...I have to think up page 4 for the book, it's a tough one. Needs to be darker. Hints on the other end of the spectrum for the desert people, where the main girl will be showing up soon. Also I do have an idea for the mermaid tattoo I need to get out this week as well, and think up some Alice and Wonderland for my little sister's tattoo.

    This is really making me worried.

    the other day, I got 15 'return to sender' emails (that it was bounced, failure to delivery)

    I get them once in a while, and it's spam messages and they're pretending to be from me.

    Last night... 152.

    This morning... 75.


    wtf.


    These actually look like they were from me, to random emails that were either fake, bounced, or blocked saying it was spam.

    Just a small note~

    I'm still taking commissions, I just have about... a 3-4 week delay before I'll be able to get to the final versions of them (sketches are fine, but I need to concentrate on the list I've got right now)


    Brain was dead last night after work, but some how I did 4 little doodles... and I really like 3 of them. Tonight I've only got 5 hours of work, but Matt said his work's having a BBQ til 10pm, so I'm probably going to wander that way...


    Work is going decently well. I've not come across anyone to hate (old job, there were a few cheerleader type girls I wanted to strangle)... It's retail, and people still bitch if something is off by .10, but other then that, I've pretty much picked everything up and enough so they'll be training me for returns next (ugh...). I cannot wait til August, then I can put in a transfer for Paint Department. Some poor lady thought she could get away with cobalt blue and not have to do 20 coats of it. Red/Blue are hellish paint colors, the pigment is so widespread.

    Matt's eyeing a help desk job (*cough, nudgehint, reminder to moo*), but that got me thinking... it's closer to St. Louis, and if something like that happens, I'd consider moving out of this town, closer to the city, then I could eyeball Homedepot's Expo store.. Oooh. So pretty in there :)

    Damn! That was cool!

    We slept through a 5.2 earthquake this morning around 4am about 130 miles away (though there IS a fault line about 15-20 from here)...

    We just got the aftershock tremors... I've NEVER experienced that before *giggles* Called my mom, then it happened again and she went "Well, all you need now is a tornado to hit."

  • Finish Page 1 (yea yea... almost done, ink takes forever to bloody dry!)

  • Finish Page 2, panel 4... scan to make sure there's enough space for text, ink

  • Doodle Druids for commission

  • Doodle mermaid for tattoo commission - find the sketches I'd done over the last few months (poses really, not full drawings)

  • Doodle Alice in Wonderland for little sister's graduation tattoo present

  • Go to Michaels and buy another piece of 15 dollar paper for 7.50. Repeat tomorrow before work.

  • Figure out what size to draw Dragon of Fortune

  • Wait for email about dragon magazine art - different dragon



    • Uh... right. Five months of almost nothing to do and April's been bloody overwhelming O_o;. Sorry there's not been too many art updates lately. I tend to stop working for a period of time, my creative side shuts down as well :(
